From Cultural Voice to Civic Action: AYLI Launches Its First Youth Leadership Seminar

从文化声音到公民行动：纽约首府亚太裔青年领导力学院（AYLI）启动首场研讨会

NYS Capital Region AAPI Youth Leadership Institute – A 9-month Pilot Program launched its first seminar, “Cultural Voice & Electoral Agency”!

A heartfelt thank-you to our wonderful presenters, Cora Schroeter MBA - Constituent Services Director, Office of Congressman Paul Tonko; Ellen Rosano - Legislator, Albany County Legislature; and Joanne Shawhan - Co-president, League of Women Voters of Albany County, NY for sharing their experiences, knowledge, and practical skills - and for inspiring our youth to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage meaningfully in civic life.

We are so proud of all our AYLI youth, who are committed to putting their learning into action through voter registration tabling and community outreach.

Advocacy, Resilience, and Innovation - this is our spirit. Let’s keep learning, practicing, reflecting, and making change. Go AYLI!
