CCC Executive Officers for  2002 -- 2003 

   Yu Wang and his family moved to the region in 1997. He is a manager and a mechanical engineer with GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from South China University of Technology and University of Pennsylvania, respectively.  He had been active in CCC activities and enjoys community services. Yu and his wife Penny, daughter Jean, son Edward live in Clifton Park.

President

  Peisheng Zhao became a CCC member in 1991 and has actively involved in CCC Chinese School activities since. He was a vice principal, the principal and then the school council chair before joining the CCC Board of Directors three years ago.   He got his PhD from School of Education, SUNY Albany in 1992 and has worked there as a Research Scientist since graduation.  He and his wife, Shanlin Wu, currently reside in Bethlehem.  Their only son, Zhenxiang, has just finished freshmen year at School of Engineering in Cornell University. Zhenxiang, known as Little Zhao in Cornell lightweight rowing team, has enjoined every minute of his college life so far.

VP

Yimin Jin and his family moved to the Albany area in August, 2000 after working at GE Plastics, Mt. Vernon, IN for almost 7 years. He received his Ph.D. in Polymer Science from Fudan University and did his post doctoral research at University Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Lab. He is currently working at GE Power System at Schenectady. He enjoys community volunteer works. His hobbies include gardening, playing Ping-Pong and traveling. He and his wife, Huqiu Zhang, and children, Shee Shee and Donna, live in the town of Bethlehem.

Secretary

  Yumei Zhu and her family moved to the Capital District in 1998.  She obtained her MS in Computational Science from Radford University in Virginia, and she is working as a senior computer programmer in InfoEd International, Inc.  Her husband, Hongyi Zhou, is a material scientist at GE Global Research Center.  They have two lovely sons, Boyang and Bryan.  The family enjoys music, travel, sports or simply being together.

Comptroller

  Ningwei Xie and her husband Chunhe Gong moved to the capital district in March 2000. She and her husband have been actively participating in various activities of CCC. Ningwei obtained her Master degree in Computer Science from Wayne State University in 2000 and obtained her Bachelor degree in medicine from Beijing Medical University in 1998. Currently Ningwei is an IT consultant at Keane, Inc. Ningwei is glad to have the opportunity to serve the local Chinese community.
