Community Volunteer Activities

"What sets volunteers apart from the rest of the world is that they are people who care but do something about it."

Chinese Community Center member volunteers have participated as a group in the following events:
  • Middle school and elementary school social science class guest speakers
  • Multicultural celebrations at schools, nursing homes and local community events.
  • Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York (November)
  • WMHT TV Auctions volunteers (April)
  • United Way Hands on Capitalland (June)
  • Chinese New Year celebration performances at area nursing homes
  • Habitat for Humanity of Capital District volunteers
  • Soup kitchen volunteers
