This is a members only area. The rules and regulations are listed below.

The Rules
The goal of the CCC Marketplace is to be useful to CCC members and provide inexpensive or free items to Chinese students who recently moved to the Albany area. To keep the list as friendly as possible, there are a few rules:

• Only CCC members of the list may post to the list. Listings should not be forwarded to non-members without permission.
  
• The postings are for personal and household items that members have to sell, trade, or give away, including yard sales, moving sales, and the like.
  
• Members agree to respect each other's privacy. This means that members may not misuse the personal information of other members or send them unwanted or unsolicited email. See the Privacy Policy for details.
  
• To join or to post items is free for all CCC members. We request that you donate 10% of your sales proceeds to CCC. Please mail your check to CCC, PO Box 13951, Albany, NY 12212. Write “marketplace donation” on your check.
  
• Listings from one member should be kept at the maximum of 20 items at one time.
  
• Listings should stay current. Check you listings often to mark down the prices or remove unsold items. Items will be automatically removed 90 days after the item was posted or edited.
  
• No advertising: The list may not be used for commercial purposes or for any advertising other than items and services that members themselves are offering.
  
• Members can post to the CCC Marketplace asking for non-cash donations for a school rummage sale or non-profit organization, baby clothes for low-income parents, office supplies for a public school, and the like.

The moderators are responsible for deciding whether members meet the above guidelines. We may delete postings that we decide are not in keeping with the policies, or that we feel are otherwise inappropriate for the list. Members who do not abide by the rules will be unsubscribed from the list at the moderators' discretion.

CCC takes no responsibility for the content of the ads, promises made, or the quality/reliability of the products or services offered in all ads. See the Disclaimer below.

Privacy Policy
The CCC Marketplace is meant to be a helpful service to CCC members. We do everything we can to protect the privacy of subscribers so that we will all feel comfortable.

1. We do not use any of the information you give us when you subscribe. We save only your email address and phone number. We never give away or reveal names or email addresses or any other personal information for any other reason.
   
2. The posting allows you to specify how you want your posting to be signed. You can sign with just your first name, or your full name and email address, or any other moniker including "Anonymous". An exception to this is that either your contact email or phone is needed.
   
3. Be aware that when you post a message, it will be seen by hundreds of CCC members.
   
4. Subscribers may not forward CCC Marketplace postings to non-subscribers without permission. The posting often contain personal information about subscribers such as their full names, phone numbers, home addresses, and email addresses. As with any other email you receive, you should not forward the words of or personal information about another person to a third party without permission.
   
5. It is not allowed for anyone to contact any poster for ANY reason other than responding directly to their post. You may NOT offer any other service, advice, recommendation, or comment about their post. We want subscribers to feel that they can include their email in their post without being bombarded with unwanted email from other subscribers. It is OK to send somebody an email when you recognize a friend, or even just to say hello. Most people are happy to receive email like this. But it is not OK to send another subscriber any email that would be considered unwelcome by most people, such as criticism about their post, or anything that could be interpreted as advertising.

The moderators will do their best to make sure that the privacy of subscribers is protected. Subscribers who are unable to follow the policies on privacy will be unsubscribed.

CCC takes no responsibility for the content of the ads, promises made, or the quality/reliability of the products or services offered in all ads. CCC reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement at any time. Publication of an ad does not constitute an endorsement of the product or service offered. Advertisers, by placing an ad in the website agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless CCC from any and all liability for content (including text, illustration, representative sketches, maps, trademarks, labels, or other copyrighted matter) of advertisements printed, or the unauthorized use of any publishing of such advertisements pursuant to the advertiser's order.
