Have you seen American Idol on TV? Here is your chance to be the CCC Albany Idol. The Chinese Community Center Idol KTV competition will be held on March 17, 2007.

Prizes will include Apple IPOD MP3 player, 4 Progressive Scan DVD Players, and raffles.

Location: Chinese Community Center
Address: 11 Avis drive, Latham, NY 12110
Time: 7:00 pm - 12:00 midnight, March 17, 2007
Food: Light Chinese snacks and beverages will be provided
Format: Two rounds

There are four categories in the first round:

- Best female
- Best male
- Best group singers
- Best entertaining singer

The judges will pick 8 contestants from the first round to compete for CCC Albany Idol in the second round. The best singer of each category will be given a DVD player.

In the second round, the audience will be voting for the CCC Albany Idol. The audience will be suggested to consider vocal quality, stage presentation, and interaction with audience. Grand prize for the winner is an Apple IPOD.

Spots will be limited to first 16 singers/groups that sign up. Participate will required to mail 2 selected song names to
