Thomas Kouo gives a concert of “To Broadway and Back” on Saturday, March 13, 2PM

Dear Friends,
Thomas Kouo will be back to Albany and give a concert of “To Broadway and Back” on Saturday, March 13, 2PM at Guilderland High School Theater. Please see the concert flyer and concert program for details.

Thomas Kouo is the son of Mark and Lily Kouo (郭志遠、張維莉) who were members of CCC and CCC Chorus from the 70’s to 90’s. Mark Kouo passed away a year ago, and Lily Kouo lives in San Diego with Thomas, her daughter-in-law and grandson now.

Thomas inherited the passion of singing from his parents, he has been an active vocalist since high school, he performed in Broadway and many other places, the following is a brief bio from the concert flyer:
“Thomas was an active member of the Guilderland Players from 1988-1990 participating in the musical productions Bye Bye Birdie (’88), Anything Goes (’89), and Carousel (’90) as well as the Fall Plays in 1989-1990.  . 

Since his Guilderland Players days, Thomas has gone on to perform all over the world including several Broadway shows and National Touring companies.  Although he has appeared on television, soaps, and in films, his heart has always been for the stage   Currently, he lives in sunny San Diego, California with his wife and son working as a professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and in private medical practice.  He continues to perform locally around the San Diego area.”
