Message from CCC President, July 1st 2010
As you read this article, the 2009-2010 executive team has finished our term of service and the new team has been inaugurated. This is an excellent time to congratulate the new leaders, and appreciate what you have done to help us make our community bigger, better, and stronger.
Second, as our team is saying goodbye to a memorable year of service, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our team members for their work and dedication. They include VP David Dai, themastermind whopresented a fabulous show of the 2010 Chinese new year celebration with director Chunyuan Zhang; VP Ting Yu who had been a CCC representative and contact at GE and worked hard to make sure the correspondences to you are done properly and timely; VP Ming Huang who brought us several pleasant picnics, seminars, and gatherings before leaving the capital region for the west coast due to job change; treasurer Xiaowu Jiang who spent numerous hours of hard work on complicated and exhausting checks, bills, and payments in addition to her very busy professional schedule; secretary Roger Cao who maintained and updated our previous infoline communication channel and the membership directory; Secretary Renge Li who talented presented us a incredible table tennis tournament and a mid-autumn festival celebration. A special appreciation shall be dedicated to James Yang, whose efforts infiltrated in almost all the CCC activities in the past year.
Certainly, none of above would be possible without your continuous support. Thank you all and thank you indeed! Your participation and help made our job not only doable but also meaningful! At this time of leaving, I am proud to see wehavekept our promise and enjoyed a year of meaningful work and unforgettable happiness and priceless friendship! Best wishes to the new team and I sincerely hope they will bring our organization to a new level.
