CCC Golf Club
Golf is a popular sport around the world and it is especially true in US thanks to the relatively low cost and abundance of golf courses, e.g., America has about 16,000 golf courses and 26 million amateur golfers. There are over 100 golf courses within 50 miles around Albany. Green fee is around $15 to $20 for a nine-hole round in a typical public course. The main reason for being such a popular sport is because Golf is not only a game of FUN, but also a game of competition, a game of challenge, and a game of everything.
It helps young children to build up a good sportsmanship, honesty, and confidence. It is also a green venue for adults to socialize, make friends, and network. As such, a few avid golfers started this CCC Golf Club in hope to:
• Make new friends/networking
• Coordinate outing on a regular basis
• Introduce golf to more Chinese, especially young children
• Provide informal lessons for beginners
