President: Zhaohui Yang was born in Guangzhou, China. He graduated from Nanjing University and State University of New York at Albany with MS degree on Computer Science. He is now working at Albany area. Zhaohui and his wife have been living at capital district over 8 years. Both of them actively participated activities at Chinese community for many years. He served as vice president of executive team of Chinese community on 2009 and will appreciate the cherish opportunity to continue working with the new team to serve our community to make it better, prettier and more prosperous. |

Vice President: Renhua Song has been living in Capitol area for 9 years. As an active CCC member, she was CCC VP two years ago and this is the third year she volunteered as a CCC board member. Renhua was born in Guilin, China. She was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree from Wuhan University and received her Master’s degree in organic chemistry from Guanxi Normal University. Before she came to USA, Renhua taught Medicinal Chemistry in Guilin Medical College for many years. She worked in Dupont research center at Newark, Delaware more than one year before she moved to the Albany area. Renhua and her husband Qin Jiang both are working in AMRI as scientists. Their daughter Tracy is a college student. Renhua will truly appreciate the opportunity and the trust to serve our community together with the new team. |

Vice President: Hongmin Li, PhD. grew up in Hegang, Heilongjiang province, China. He graduated from Beijing University with B.Sc. in 1990. Then he went to the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, where he obtained his PhD degree in 1995. Hongmin spent the next five years for postdoctoral research at Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology, University of Maryland Biotechnology Institutes, Rockville Maryland in the United States. In 2000, he joined in the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health. He is now Research Scientist V and holds an Assistant Professor appointment in the Departments of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Public Health of the State University of new York in Albany NY. During the past 10 years, Hongmin and his wife, Zhong Li, and their two children, Thomas and Linda, actively involved in Chinese school activities. Now, he is looking forward to serving the community. |

Vice President: Huageng Luo is a mechanical engineer at GE Global Research Center. He was born and raised in Shangyu, Zhejiang Province, P.R. China. After he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Department of Mechanics of Peking University, he taught in the same department as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer for five years. He then joined a Ph.D. program at the School of Aerospace Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. After earning his Ph.D. degree, Huageng continued his research as a post-doctoral research fellow for a year. Huageng then moved to the Capital Region and joined the GE Global Research Center as a mechanical Engineer in 1997. In the past thirteen years, Huageng and his wife, Hong Mei, a Chinese School teacher, have been building their careers and family in the Capital Region. They have a son, David, and a daughter, Amy, who are Chinese School students. Huageng is happy to have this opportunity to serve our community and to promote Chinese cultural heritage in the Capital Region. |

Vice President: Weiqing Chen was born in Shanghai, China. She graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in material engineering. She came to the capital region in 1986. After earning a Master’s degree in Computer Science from SUNY at Albany, Weiqing worked as a software consultant in New York, Ohio and Florida. During the past 12 year she was a senior software engineer at Pitney Bowes, formerly MapInfo. She is joining the Excelsior College as a senior application developer in the summer of 2010. Weiqing has been an active volunteer for the Chinese Community Center of the Capital Region since late 1990. She served as a PTA member, librarian, vice principal, principal, council member and council chair of the Chinese School, and as a board member between 2002 and 2007. Her son, David who graduated from CCC Chinese School in 2008, was a CCC youth group member and volunteered in various community events. He will be a college freshman this fall. Weiqing is looking forward to serve the community again. |

Treasurer: Hongyuan Xia was born in Shengyang, Liaoning province. After she graduated from university, she worked for the Beijing Creative Company for ten years. Hongyuan came to the US in 1998 and was a Chinese School teacher in San Jose , CA. Since 2004, she has been a Chinese School teacher and active member of CCC. Her husband, Guangyi Liu, worked in ABB as a senior consulting engineer. They have only one son, Kaiyuan Liu, who will be a freshman in University this year. Hongyuan has a variety of interests in her life: she loves sports, cooking and making friends. She is more than happy to have this opportunity to serve our Chinese community. |

Secretary: Tian Zhang was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province. She was the vice President of Student Government at the School of Life Science & Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology where she achieved her B.S. degree in Biological Engineering. Since 2008, Tian has been pursuing her Ph.D in Chemistry at RPI and she was the President of Chinese Student & Scholar Association (CSSA) at RPI for the year of 2009. Ever since she come to the US, Tian has been participating into plenty of activities and events at CCC. She is looking forward to contributing to our community. |
