2010 Chinese American Capital District Health Fair [ 2010首届纽约首府地区华美健康日]

首府地区华裔医生协会和华社将于2010年3月6号在华社举办 首届纽约首府地区华美健康日
届时将有一系列丰富的与健康医疗相关的活动，比如各种检测， 医生咨询和健康讲座等。

Objectives of the Health Fair
1. Increase health awareness by providing health screening, activities, materials, demonstrations, and information;
2 Increase awareness of local, state, and national health services and resources;
3 Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes;
4 Provide immunizations information for children and adults;
5 Teach self-care practices;
 
 
On the day of 1st Annual Chinese American Capital District Health Fair , there are a serious health programs on building of Chinese Community Center.
 
Clinical Testing: target on uninsured/low income local residence will be sponsored.
 
Consulting: Doctors from different specilties will provide consulting
 
Seminors:
How to see a doctor in the US.
Adult preventive care
Children preventive care
Diabetes
High blood pressure
High cholesterol
Eye health
Mercury toxicity
